Details about the Downtime, Inc. street legal race car: The 1994 Camaro raced by Downtime, Inc. is a street legal machine. The car achieves 18 miles per gallon and is driven daily during the warmer months. Most recently the car was driven to and from the IHRA Bracket Finals in Norwalk Ohio. I believe we were the only team to actually drive a seven second car (1/8 mile) over 800 miles to race at that event. The seats were a bit uncomefortable over such a long distance, and don't ever drop anything on the floor while wearing a 5 point safety harness, but all in all, it was a good trip.
